Lalique Crystal “Trophee” Our #01500
The Lalique crystal “Trophee” is sculpted in frosted clear crystal in a stylized interpretation of the Biellmann spin, a figure skating move made iconic by Denise Biellmann of Switzerland. This graceful sculture is almost 13″ in height, is signed “Lalique” and comes with its original box. Although new, it is marked to prices similar for used pieces as we close-out and end our longtime Lalique dealership and go into retirement. Lalique crystal “Trophee” was, indeed, first sculpted as a trophy for an elite figure skating competition held in France. Recipients have included Olympic gold medalists such as Katarina Witt and Brian Boitano. This piece, however, has merely graced the shelves of our store.
